Makin' this years bday shirt

I couldn't come up with an idea for a birthday shirt for Jake this year so I convinced him to let me try a bleach pen. I think it worked well, can't wait to see what it looks like once its washed and dried.

Alice Potty Training?

Alice poo'd in the bathtub the other night (totally gross, I know) so when I noticed she was getting that "poo face" again tonight, I pulled her out and sat her on the potty immediately.

When I sat her there the other night she totally screamed and wanted off, but tonight she seemed to like it so I left her there for a little while... and you know what... she actually poo'd in the potty! Way to go Alice!! Too bad she's still a little too young to train. So though, very soon!

Our Day in Pismo

We have had an incredible day in Pismo. The hotel was perfect, absolutely perfect. I think this might be our new annual MLK,jr. Day retreat. Everything about it was perfect. We had lots of fun playing at the hotel, exploring the beach, seeing the Monarch butterflies, checking out downtown, and strolling along the pier.

There's so many other things we want to do the next time we come! It was such a great day. So relaxing (as long as I could drown out the sound of my own whining children), the weather was perfect. It think we've found our beach place!
