Georgie girl is three!
It's hard to believe she's only three.
It feels like she's been here just as long as Jacob has. Sometimes I wonder what the three of us ever did before she came along. She has brought so much joy, fun, love, frustration, and spunk to our family. We love every little thing about her!
From the moment she was
born she had her voice, she let her opinion be known, and she has not lost that trait one little bit. She is a force to be reckoned with. The girl is strong and determined and set in her ways and not afraid to let you know when she doesn't agree with you. Its a characteristic that can be maddening as her mother, but one that I hope takes her far in this life. The girl is gonna get whatever she wants outta this life. Our role is to direct her on the right path. How grateful I am for her sweet, determined spirit.
Georgie loves to play with her baby dolls. She is a tender little mommy to them and spends quite a bit of time nursing them on a daily basis. None of them have names, but her love for them is apparent in how gently she cares for them (because the girl isn't gentle with anything!).
She loves to read books and be read to, but if no one will read to her she'll make up her own story with the pictures and every story starts with "One day...". We laugh every time we hear her say it because the inflection in her voice is just so darn cute.
She loves to hear the story of her birth also. Lately it has been my "secret weapon" to getting her to sleep at night when she's wanting to fight and scream and yell. If I start to whisper
Georgie's Story in her ear she calms down and quickly falls to sleep. It's changed everything about bed time!
Georgia Ann loves to talk. She is our little chatter box! She talks and talks and talks to whoever is listening or not listening as is the case most of the time. She tells the funniest stories and says the silliest things just to get others to laugh.
We are so blessed to have our sweet Georgie Girl in our lives and we love her so very much!
